New year, new floor: is it time to finally get the decorating done?

As the end of the year approaches many of us find it’s time to look back on the all the plans we had for home improvements and wonder why we didn’t get around to them. And invariably the answer is time; there’s just not enough of it, is there?

But do you accept that the work just won’t get done? Not if it’s flooring. You just get the professionals in instead. At Dunstable Flooring we cover Dunstable and the surrounding areas including Watford, Bedford and Milton Keynes, and we can have your new floor ordered, delivered and laid swiftly, saving you time (and probably an ear bashing).

But not only do we provide high quality flooring, we also do kitchen services. Our one stop service includes 3D designs, supplying, fitting and other services such as plastering, electrics and plumbing. The kitchen is the most important room in the house. We spend a lot of time there and it’s the one space in the house that needs to be designed, not just decorated. For details of how we can turn your dream kitchen into reality and make 2020 the year that your home is transformed, call us on 01582 668173.

Types of Flooring Available

Wood

Wood floors are characterised by their durability and by transmitting warmth to impersonal and cold environments. These floors can be placed in any room of the Bedford and Milton Keynes house.

Porcelain and ceramic

These type of Milton Keynes Flooring provide different options and are characterised by their heaviness and durability. They are waterproof, which makes it usable in any room of the St Albans house. Pre-cured rustic ceramic tiles are the most common to use. On the other hand, two-layer ceramic floors are an economical option, resistant to traffic and wear due to their enamelled upper layer.

Marble floors

The marble St Albans Flooring is ideal for interiors of large sizes and sobre style homes. It is elegant and cold. Because of their texture, they can be slippery when wet.

Cement and concrete floors

These are modern, durable and resistant types of Watford Flooring. They can be painted in many colours and can have plasticised finishes. The smoothed cement allows several uses, designs and varied shapes. It can break and lose resistance if not treated with care.

Mosaic floors

They require hard work to be placed. They are much more aesthetic and durable in a Luton home. They are divided into granite mosaics of bilayer, polished or rough and of reduced durability.

Stone floors and tiles

It is the most resistant and durable Flooring Bedford. It is usually used for patios, terraces and balconies. Also, for kitchens and bathrooms. It is not easy to place and can be expensive.

Floating floors

They are premolded at the factory. They are arranged on beams and platforms in the subfloor and the existing floor. They do not carry nails, screws or glue. Only the boards are supported on a smooth surface and they are encased. Contact the experts at Dunstable Flooring for more information and kitchen services.

Floors in vinyls, linoleum, rubber

It is placed on existing floors or smooth sub-floors. It can be installed in rolls or on large tiles. They are adhesive and are cut to fit the needs. It is an economical option in Watford, but sensitive to punches and falls of sharp elements.
